Students can pedal their way through this coming week as Bike Week 2015 takes its turn onto campus.
Bike Week will be celebrated starting Monday to encourage a bike-friendly atmosphere in the UCF area.
The event, which includes 11 activities running from Monday through Thursday, is co-sponsored by the Recreation and Wellness Center and the Student Union, according to a press release.
"Organizers will give away two bikes. One will go to a student randomly selected from those who participate in at least three of the events," the release states. "The recipient of the second bike will be chosen based on need."
Not only can students join the celebration for bike-related activities, but they can learn about the environmental benefits of bike riding.
In the release, Student Union communications manager Sara Lane said the focus of Bike Week is "safety, sustainability and sport."
"I think it's going to be a really fun week of events," Lane said in the release.
