Orange County Sheriff's deputies are on the hunt for a suspect they said allegedly attempted to break into a handful of cars in a parking garage at The Marquee, formerly Sterling Central, apartments.
At 11:14 p.m., deputies received notice of vehicular burglaries at The Marquee, and a deputy confirmed that two to three cars were affected on the first floor of the Phase 1 parking garage.

John Sirera, the individual who called the police, saw the suspect checking car doors of at least three vehicles before he made the call.
"I watched him check the Prius, the other side of the Prius, the Soul, then the other side of Soul and the Acura and then I called the cops," Sirera said.
Sirera and another individual who refused to identify himself described the suspect as a six-foot-tall white male with long, brown frizzy hair.
A bloodhound has been dispatched to locate the suspect, a deputy said, and this is currently an ongoing investigation.
This comes as the fourth incident at this complex in roughly seven weeks.
This is a developing story. Check back for more details.
