A cappella group Pentatonix will bring their poppy vocal arrangements to the CFE Arena on April 14.
The Grammy award-winning quintet will be sliding through Orlando as part of their 2016 world tour, according to a press release. They will be joined by the folk-pop pair Us the Duo from Los Angeles.
Pentatonix formed in 2011 and rose to prominence thanks to their a cappella covers of famous pop songs, according to their website. The group received its first award in 2013 for their work with Lindsey Stirling on a cover of the Imagine Dragons’ song “Radioactive.” In 2015, they received the Grammy award for the song “Daft Punk,” and in 2016 were nominated for their work on “Dance of a Sugar Plum Fairy.”
They were the first a cappella group to achieve a No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 music chart.
General sale tickets are currently available on Ticketmaster or at the UCF Box Office.
