Video: Irish-inspired drinks for UCF game in Ireland
For those of us planning to have a couple drinks during UCF's season-opener tomorrow, here are a few Irish-inspired recipes to try. Watch as Tatyana Gomez, a bartender at The Moat, shows the Central Florida Future how to make these drinks.
For those of you looking for a place to watch the game tomorrow, The Moat will be open at 7:30 a.m.
Irish Car Bomb
- 1/2 ounce of Irish Whiskey
- 1/2 ounce of Bailey's Irish Cream
Add Bailey's and whiskey to a shot glass. Pour Guinness into a pint glass and let it settle. Drop the shot glass into the Guinness and chug. Chugging is NOT optional. If the drink is not quickly chugged, the cream will curdle.
- 2 ounces of Irish Whiskey
Pour whiskey and coffee into a mug. Add sugar to taste.
If you like cream in your coffee, check out another Irish Coffee recipe here:
- 1/3 ounce Irish Cream
- 1/3 ounce Kahlua
Combine Irish cream and Kahlua in cocktail mixer with ice, shake and pour into shot glass. Oh, last thing — enjoy!
